Looking at Digital Transformation

For my thesis, my area of focus is digital transformation.

My Major topic is the Phases of Digital Transformation

Buzzword Questions:

How can we measure digital transformation phases and digital readiness in a government organization?

Where are we, what opportunities exist, and what are the barriers to digital transformation?


Potential Research Question:

To what degree should the Ministry of Legal Affairs transform digitally?


Exercise 1:

What are 3 issues or problem areas in the focus of your study?

*Ministry of Legal Affairs has engaged in some aspects of digital transformation projects, yet the Ministry of Digital Transformation says that we cannot 100% digitally transform.

*Why are current aspects of digital transformation still heavily added by in-person visits to complete transactions?

*Systems do not log errors or alert users of errors after the completion.


What are 3 questions  I would like to answer with my project?

*Are services in Ministries capable of being fully digital?

*What are the phases of Digital Transformation?

*I would like to investigate both qualitatively and quantitatively issues in order to answer what may be preventing Ministries from becoming fully digital.
